Mark Kersten
Mark also plays guitar and has been playing music professionally since 1965. He has been a member of “Butch Wax” since 1989 and was influenced by the Detroit Sound and drummers like Buddy Rich, Dino Danelli (Rascals), Ringo, Dennis Chambers, Don Brewer (Grand Funk), and Dave Weckl. His professional highlights include opening act appearances with John Cougar, The Rascals, Edgar Winter, Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Maynard Ferguson, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, along with being in a Detroit band that signed with Arista Records in the 1970′s.
